Part of a three-volume collection, Volume One shows Adams’ cutting her teeth on influences like Van Morrison, The Band, Ricky Lee Jones, and Bruce Springsteen. The first three tracks are from the same 1979 session, a rehearsal tape which preserved for posterity some of Adams' first efforts as a young songwriter honing her craft.

This retrospective explores the artist’s music catalogue from 1979 to 2000 through a mix of rehearsal tapes, demos and mastered sessions.
