
Mick: In Times Past
I’m excited to announce the launch of my album: In Times Past.
The music on this album spans over ten years of song writing and recording history that includes reproduced songs from my 2002 demo album Lyrical Sketch (A Linguist’s Rhyme & Sacred Store, that originally was titled A Bar-Chord Rhapsody). Everything is Fine was recorded in a third story attic room in Brooklyn, New York, during a hot summer heatwave, while Cow’s Pass You By (originally titled Cherry Fields) was the audio scape “backbone” of my 2004 dance theatre performance Stanley Rainsford. - This is indeed an album full of diversity.
I have compiled this album to share with you the songs that I have recorded over the many years so that I may let them go and freely move forward with the creation of my first, focused, deliberate album titled Good Measure. To accompany some of the songs on my album, In Times Past, I have created some music video clips, featuring a "blast from the past cast" in Eating Pie and the talented dancers that brought Stan
