About SoundScape:
SoundScape is bound by their passion for ethnic music and together they create a musical masala that will captivate you, the listener, towards a journey of unchartered land.
SoundScape originated in Shanghai and the city is lending itself to the contemporary elements of the music.
It is this fusion of place of band's origin, cultures and musical styles that gives the band its unique flavor.
This is SoundScape's 3rd album featuring instrumental landscapes fused with Indian tunes and renderings of songs from the lead singer’s own Tibet.


About "Blueprint":
This flowing upward and downward is a sonic expression of the maxim "as above so below". But SoundScape guides us from a starting point of here and now - the below, hence the subversion of the original verse from which some of the music took inspiration.
The mystic phrase is here interpreted in an open approach so the music carries us in either direction depending on our mood or the order we flow through the songs: sometimes moving from the roots to the branches and other times descending from the Stars to the depths of the Earth.

To achieve this, SoundScape, as we are now accustomed, employs a "boundaryless" mélange of musical styles in their unique masala, combining the sounds of the most diverse instruments from many different traditions with the harmonic melodies tied together by the most ancient instrument of all: the human voice whose beautiful chanting and choruses carry us away towards the timeless destinations of our imagination and emotions.

And so the below reflects the above, as the above is mirrored below in the infinite dance between the parts of the whole. The music is just an element of this dance with us - the listeners, being invited to participate into the uplifting alchemy or rooting power of sound and enjoying an aural experience that allows us to reconnect to reality more deeply in a meditative moment that is the blueprint of vibrational awareness.
