
Life Is Good
Loretta Callens began her journey through music at 6 years old. She performed at her local church
and later joined her school’s choir. At age 16 Loretta picked up the guitar and knew it was the instrument
for her. She credits her parents with fostering the love of music which shows in her performances. Music
critic Tom Geddie of Buddy Magazine stated, “Callens can sing”, in his review of Loretta’s first
CD, “Strayz”.
Loretta recently released a new CD "Life Is Good" along with a companion Texas sweet white table wine (a moscato) from Texas Roads Winery.
Several of Loretta’s recordings received air play on east Texas radio stations, 104.1 The Ranch, 95.3/102.3
The Breeze and KNON Dallas Public Radio.
Presently, Loretta performs at wineries, festivals, art shows & galleries, coffee houses, restaurants and private events.
Loretta’s performances consist of original Texas music along with a mix of covers from the distant to not so distant past.
