I Think I'll Park Here
My names Patrick Brown and I am 17 years old and I have been creating this Cd for the past 4 years of my life.
This CD is specifically tigered to allow different levels of listeners to enjoy different songs. The different factors that go into why each listner enjoys a song is based on the listeners musical level, their mood, the songs: structure, key, time signiture, tempo, and lyrical and intrumental content. I hope you will enjoy it and If possible, if you could write back to me and let me know what your favorite song is and why.
Thanks

Songs:
Caged Bird (Common Sence):
There once was a caged bird we all used to know
Sit in his cage all day wishin' the stars would take him away
Oh caged bird open your beaks i want to hear what you have to say
I know you got it in you, tell the story of the life of your caged bird
Every birds got a voice wow let it sing
Let it spread it's wings and sing yea let it sing
You might not be a bird but you are still caged inside.
Someone once told me everybodys got a time to shine, bird this is your time
Every birds got a voice wow let it sing
Let it spread it's wings and sing yea let it sing
Island Road:
This Island road, carry me down this path laid beside me
Long far and wide, I see more then ever this path that i lead
Bicycle chain turn round and round, but this road leads straight for days
wow, wo eh wow la da de da
Heavy rain drops can't stop me from wear I go
Theres one this that i know
I wanna go i wanna go
To the place thats never stoped me before
This place i call
This place called home
Down this river all my dreams float away
Seen a million times before but it seems more apparent today
Cross this bridge and stare into the sky astray
Take this token my friend and pay your life away
Heavy rain drops can't stop me from wear I go
Theres one this that i know
I wanna go i wanna go
To the place thats never stoped me before
This place i call
This place called home
Filled Cracks
Shades of green fill the pupel of my eye with wonder
Blue skies bringing back basic hints of summer
Empty houses look so nice side by side
Filled tents on the beach roll with the tide
Filled cracks in the pavement, bring off a heavy load?
But i still, Feel that bump in the road
But i dont mind, as i drive along,
Wistle a tune, singing a song
Chorus:
Day by night, night by day
Living this life an extraordinary way.
Ignorence is bliss and i don't mind
Letting things slide threw the grape vine.
This moment of my life is truly bliss
Relax, rejoice, remain an optimist
Moist grass beneath my feat, I walk my path
Tent city population increasing, we can laugh
Many empty houses where people could live in,
But what the hell, there's always a tree to chill in
Money doesn't grow on trees but it's made of it
People could live in houses but we rather not
Sing about it!
(Chorus)
"The wind blows where it wishes
And you hear the sound of it
But cannot tell where it comes from
And where it goes" (John 3:8)
"If I had told you earthly things and you did not believe,
How will you believe heavenly things?"(John 3:12)
"He who believes in not condemed, but
who doesn't is already condemed"(John 3:18)
Problems arise through out the earth
With easy solutions to break the curse
Selfish money only helps yourself
We've lost our purpose apone our birth
(Chorus)
(repeat x6)
Hamlet's Galaxy:
Stare at the moving clouds, see what I see?
See the beauty of God, or a geraff become a tree?
Lying in sandy bliss is the essense of my happiness
I could be bounded in a nutshell
And count myself king of infinite space
Unless bad dreams wake me up
And take me from my Galaxy.
Green shadowy eyes tell the truth for us all.
Stare off into space, what are you thinking?
Or are you thinking at all?
Thoughts may linger as they bounce through the mind.
What is true? What is false? Whats there to find?
Found the solution to my health
Your not taking sides
Your solution wasn't a conspirey nor a lie
It was the right of belonging
When one can afford life. Lii iie fe.
Stare a little longer, just until I die.
Let the wind blow and ruffle our hair
The sea of wonder is full of changing tide
Give me something that isn't fair
And I'll give you a smile that dosn't hide
Tinted Windows:
Long car rides through the ever unknown
Have a plan ha de da, we really don't know
All I know is we enjoy our time together
Short time spent, moments last forever
Entorupted by a call or two
I don't mind, I'm still in love with you
Tinted windows, no one ca see
Girl won't you put a spell on me
Please don't laugh, I'm a little corney
Lets just smile, and be free
Radio blasting, dancing begins
Your moves give me chicken skin
Stare into your eyes as deep as they go
Hold you tight, Lips are tender so
On these clouds we may fly away
Take my hand and lets run away
Tinted windows, no one ca see
Girl won't you put a spell on me
Please don't laugh, I'm a little corney
Lets just smile, and be free
1st time around you've been before
You've been once, now never more
You think you know but you never know
Cause your out side our tinted window
You can't see with those red hatred eyes
The tears that she cries
Come closer the truth will lye
That our love will never die.
Tinted windows, no one ca see
Girl won't you put a spell on me
Please don't laugh, I'm a little corney
Lets just smile, and be free
Forbide change it is much to spoken
Lets return to the morals that are now broken
Through belief of a prosperous nation
At this time America seems to be on a vacation
City on a Hill:
We are a city upon a hill
What we do what we say is watched by all
Lets return to the plan of the founding fathers
Lets become an example for all
Fish and visitors smell in the 3 days we have been with them
We shall not deal with the foreign affairs
So Europe stay out of our way
We The people are uniting as one
and here we come, here we come here we come
We are a city upon a hill
What we do what we say is watched by all
Lets return to the plan of the founding fathers
Lets become an example for all
We are a city upon a hill
What we do what we say is watched by all
Lets return to the plan of the founding fathers
Lets become an example for all
Song of Broken Rhymes:
Curtain Call, Ending this era of abuse
No more shall I be here for you selfish use
I'm not your taxi driver so called friend
Its time I call this era to an end
Now Run and hide
Forget about our good good times
Good Luck with what you find
Cause its just another Song of Broken Rhymes
Your a good kid gone bad
Messing up that life you used to have
Popping pills, smoking w**d, drinking mad
Your throwing your life away
Its all so sad
Now Run and hide
Forget about our good good times
Good Luck with what you find
But its just another Song of Broken Rhymes
Lifes not all just fun and games
You have to man up to thise responsibilities
Or you'll just end up another one of those names
In the newspaper abituaries
Now Run and hide
Forget about our good good times
Good Luck with what you find
But its just another Song of Broken Rhymes
What do we need it for?
When you can love someone else you can find the answer to meaning something more
We strut this grass everyday looking for something that we feel is great but it ends up being something just okay.
We need this house
We need this car
We need this floor
We need this door
But really...
What do we need it for?
3 Bucks a month, minimum wage! no food on the table, surviving is the day to day
Ahh.. work all day, working all night! striving for a dream that the rich man has already thrown away
We need this house
We need this car
We need this floor
We need this door
But really...
What do we need it for?
Drink this wine of man
Eat this bread of butter
Don't look on hate
But look to love one another
For hate does not, it does not spread happiness
For an eternal light will fluter
And show a change in you
And maybe save another...
Why can't we be more like Jesus, and spread the love of the Man living on the upstairs floor.
Why can't we love others like we love ourselves and find this eternal joy we've been struggling for.
We need this house
We need this car
We need this floor
We need this door
But really...
What do we need it for?
Hidden in the Leaves
As I see the wind blowing through the trees
God sends me a whisper that passes by my ear
He said this is Me hidden in the leaves
As i catch that wave I've been looking for all day
I get a feeling inside of me
Something tells me that feeling is Him
Everywhere i go, Everywhere i look, You are there
When I look to the front You are staring me straight in the eye
Some people don't see the way i do
The reason is because of You
I'm so glad i finally found You.
You pick me up so i can stand tall
And notice You hidden in the leaves
Suicide's Death
Hes got his finger on the trigger
and the barrel to his head
he cant help but think that hed be better off dead
his hand begins to shake
as a single tear rolls down his face
and he preaches "lifes just too hard to take"
he takes a deep breath
as he grips the gun tight
he feels he is ready to embrace death
he feels he's lost the fight
theres no real struggle
thats worth taking your own life
taking the easy way out is so subtle
be like us all and live with the strife
life will always get better
life can always get worse
we can get through this together
i wouldnt be able to live with this curse
just put the gun down
we both know its not worth it
life would be different without you around
youd be missed quite a bit
Rain
Rain, rain please don't go away
Won't you stay, stay just for today
Clouds blue, shine without light
Shes Holdin' my arm ever so tight
Rare Special moment like this will only last the night
When your rain drops this girl drips a smile
When the shadows roar, she ohhs and ahhs just like a child
Smile from nature at its best
Bundled up, heart beating out of her cheast
Cool breath from humid airs, forgeting societys test
I Think I'll Park Here
Long before there was Signs
I was parking my car in any spot I could find
Give me Rules tax my tea
This is my home I’ll fight to stay free
Throw it over board into the sea
Man this is one hell of a tea party
Yell at me and tell me know
Cause your sign says so
Yell at me to get lost
I’d rather take the cost
This land isn’t yours
It’s all of ours
Yep I Think I’ll Park Here
Tried to take the land from me
Not gonna happen this is a free country
Red and white and blue
Gives me a freedom I will choose
You park here, I’ll park there
Park anywhere, all is right and fair
Yell at me and tell me know
Cause your sign says so
Yell at me to get lost
I’d rather take the cost
This land isn’t yours
It’s all of ours
Yep I Think I’ll Park Here Yell at me and tell me know
Cause your sign says so
Yell at me to get lost
I’d rather take the cost
This land isn’t yours
It’s all of ours
Yep I Think I’ll Park Here
