Recorded in Sweden and released in October 2015, "Furnace Sun" is a record set apart from the usual singer/songwriter genre. While it echoes familiar musical influences, the collaboration of "apa" (american songwriter Jake Phillips) and Swedish producer Carl Granberg has given life to a unique and captivating record. The songs do follow an equation heard before, but in the production one can hear a european sensibility in tune with artists like Aphex twin, Radiohead, Bjork and Massive attack.

His conveyance is at times unambiguous, while other times his story is left open to the interpretation of the listener. There is a rasp and gravel to this sonorous baritone - in it, you can hear the scars of romance, political disillusionment and the will and desire to experience life on the fringes.
