Telescopes - the new album from KK, is an epic magic carpet ride across space and time a spellbinding saga a million years in the making.. Part film soundtrack part leftfield indie - like a dream it changes scene surreally from a dark winters fairytale to an Ennio Morricone inspired Wild West; from a blissful desert island to spacecraft on the edge of the galaxy. The album rekindles the lost art of the concept album. Like Pink Floyd s timeless classic Dark Side of the Moon it has a complete sense of vision, which reveals itself as the drama unfolds, from colossal film-like pieces such as Andromeda (think Danny Elfmann meets John Williams) to Grandaddy / Bjork-esque indiepop such as 'Dust' and 'Codebreaker'. Stargazing super-geek KK, who has worked with the likes of Brian Eno, Bjork and James Newton Howard, has always harboured a passion for science and discovery as well as music, and here he fuses the two - exploring our origins in the world and the many mysteries of the universe with a unique sense of storyt
