This wasn't what Jennifer's label at the time, Virgin, had in mind. They repeatedly wanted to know who was going to remix the thing. This led Jennifer to feel she finally had enough of the music industry as she knew it... basically, major labels weren't working for her. She easily decided to start her own label with the help of good friends. Caboose Music was born in August of 2001 amidst much confusion about what it is a label actually 'does.'
