Riko is a Spanish-Rock band that achieves a unique style by integrating electric guitars and keyboards with diverse rhythms while within the rock genre, maintaining an undeniable Latin soul.
The band was formed in 2006 by Jose Rico (vocals and guitar), Victor Bejar (guitar) and Milton (drums). In 2008 Marian Rico (vocals and keyboard) and Kenty Love (bass) joined the band.
Jose Rico was part of the band “Under an Eclipse” from 2003 until 2007. Kenty Love is part of the band “Tribal Scream” and has played with several bands such as: Kandela, Los Muchachitos, Philatinos, Anthony Colon and Rarbta among others.
Riko’s music conveys an open message towards humanity by expressing their thoughts, feelings, fears, and their ways of embracing life. This year Riko has performed their songs at various venues in Philadelphia including one of the most important Latin community events, "The Hispanic Choice Awards” held at the renowned Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
