
Hold On
Ms. Marilyn Marshall performs her style of Soft Jazz, R&B and smooth Club Music, throughout the United States, Canada and the Bahamas. She is a veteran of stage and television, has received "Entertainer of the Year" honors, and has previously represented New Jersey in the Mrs. United States pageant at Caesar's in Atlantic City.
Marilyn continues to be commited to quality in her music and has focused her boundless energies on sharing her creative talents through RnB, Jazz, and Gospel with the World. Recently Ms. Marilyn received commendations and praise from the Seventh New Jersey Legislative district through their elected official for 35 years of Entertainment. She was also honored with a proclamation from the Mayor of her hometown of Willingboro NJ.
She is musician, composer, and producer of her current CD "Hold on" which features the hit club single "Let's stay together". This is Ms. Marshall's second album release featuring 14 tracks of original RnB Contemporary dance compositions and soul standards. The album's title track encourages listeners to "Hold On" to their dreams and keep looking up to claim their goals. Ms. Marshall has donated portions of the album's proceeds to private Rehabilitation facilities for substance abuse.
Ms. Marilyn has recently completed a Caribbean tour with concerts to standing room only audiences at Atlantis Hotel and Casino in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
A promoter and Educator, Ms.Marshall continues to co-chair and perform for various charities world-wide, including the Hold on to Education Foundation, Linda Creed Breast Cancer and Damon Harris Prostate Cancer Foundations, and the Bill Deal Cystic Fibrosis Fund. She was recently honored by the South Jersey Chapter of the NAACP for her Contribution to Music and dedication to numerous charitable events. Her current albums "Hold On" and "Just us Two" (1996) can be heard on various radio stations across the country. Presently Ms. Marilyn Marshall is in the studio recording a new CD scheduled for release in the Spring of 2008.
