This is Tek tha Supah LAtin's debut album. On this particular album the goal was to take it back to the days of real MC'ing through production, rhyme style, and lyrical content. This album was designed for the Hip Hop fanatic. There are songs on the album, such as "Somebody Gotta Get It", which is compared by many to a classic Big Daddy Kane flow with a tempo that is a definite crowd pleaser. There are also deep socially conscious songs like "Crack muzik" and "Dominoes" that make you think about the way we behave as humans. "Pressure" is a real life story of Tek's where he reveals his constant battle with the pressures that haunt him due to almost accidentally taking his younger brothers life in a tragic car accident.
This album also features West Coast veteran MCs such as: Akil and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Medusa, Ras Kass, Born Allah, D Strong, and his father, (West Coast Beatbox pioneer) "click tha Supah LAtin", as well as other local MCs.
Also featuring heavyweight DJs such as DJ Swamp, DJ Icy Ice (World famous Beat Junkies), and DJ Mark Luv (Zulu Nation).
