Danon and Hosannah rhyme for the purpose of bringing the caliber of hip hop UPPANOTCH. Danon is a Queens native with a sharp tongue capable of carving through many styles. You can feel his life experience in his rhymes, and he’s gifted in everything from the art of story telling to straight lyrical spitfire. Hosannah was born in England , and emigrated to Queens, N.Y. with his family when he was just 3 years old. Hosannah finds a way to hold the track hostage- he’d rather surround it than be on top of it.
Born of West Indian parents (Danon's father is Trinidadian and Guyanese while his mother is Guyanese, Hosannah's parents are both Guyanese), these first cousins tell not only the stories relevant to the modern day American kid, but also those ancestral poems that guided their bloodlines...
