Kellee is not a traditional Irish Band; we are from the land of Laurentia, an ancient continent where the Appalachian Mountains and the British Isle were one. Our fore-fathers left Ireland for the new land, they drank Irish Whiskey until they ran out; they switiched to moonshine and took their music to the mountains. We specialize in Irish pub songs, but our roots are planted in Old Time Music and are just as comfortable in the pub or on the back porch.

Playin in the Pub was inspired by a trip to Ireland in the summer of 2008. Bill and Liz went searching pubs for good music. Many of the songs on the CD were recommended by our good friends with the AOH in Greenville, South Carolina. The CD is a mixture of Irish rebel ballads, Irish pub drinking songs and a couple just for fun, an enjoyable 62 minutes.
